Description and Tasting Notes

Freisa is becoming increasing rare in Piemonte. It is a relation of Nebbiolo and shares many of the same characteristics. It is known for its strawberry and sour cherry aromas. Freisa comes come the latin fresia meaning  strawberry   

This wine is  deep purple in  colour with a full structured body. The wine exhibits aromas of strawberry and raspberry that follow onto the palette with white pepper and a slight sour cherry. Tannins are present offering a dry long  finish.
