Description and Tasting Notes
Gaglioppo is an ancient Calabrian variety that has been grown around the town of Ciro since it was a Greek port, it is derived from a Greek word translating to beautiful foot. Gaglioppo has been compared as a lighter more saline Nebbiolo.
A wine with a garnet orange hue. Aromas of red fruit and cranberries with a little plum on the palette. Light, dry and with a softer tannin structure.
